We've been having a beautiful spring here in the Wenatchee Valley; the hills are a lovely, velvety green with great swaths of "sunflowers" (arrow-leaf balsam root) covering the hills, in areas looking as though an extra dose of sun is shining down. Cherries, Pears and Apples (the life-blood of our farm community) bloomed at least 2 weeks earlier than normal, meaning that cherries are already starting to form, petals are falling from the pears and apples and the Wenatchee Valley Apple Blossom Festival will be starting this week, with the "Kiddies Parade" on Saturday, April 25 and the Grand Parade on Saturday, May 2. These are all wonderful opportunities for us to get out and meet our neighbors from near and far and to bring them the Good News of Jesus. God is Good! We have truly been blessed with abundance and beauty in this wonderful valley. And we hope you can come visit us here at King's Orchard; we would love to meet you and get to know you.
