We need volunteers to help distribute relief supplies up in Okanogan (the “log building” at 2nd & Main in Okanagan, WA). They will be distributing the supplies brought in by semi from the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc. Tuesday through Saturday (August 25-29) from 9 am to 6 pm. The semi from Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc. is on schedule to show up in Okanagan at 6 pm tonight (8/24/15). Community Foundation of NCW has set up a site to help the victims of the Chelan Fires. Click on the link below for more information.
Folks – Here is a list of items that are needed for all those displaced by the fires up at Lake Chelan. Also, you can make monetary donations or gift card donations and drop them off here at the church office and we will make sure they get to those who need them. Please, remember to pray for all those who’ve lost homes, property, businesses, livelihoods. Pray for those who are fighting the fires that God grants them continued strength and wisdom.
I’m forwarding a request from May Segle with Entiat Valley Community Services. They are working to support the victims of the Chelan fire and are in need of certain supplies. Here’s a listing of what is needed most:

Bairds’ Sunday Night Devo is cancelled for Sunday, August 16. INSTEAD they’ll all be at the WCS Ice Cream Social Fund Raiser at the building starting at 6:30 p.m. with a short devotional and then ICE CREAM at 7 p.m.
Earharts’ Collision Repair “Back to School Book Bag Drive" We are holding our sixth Annual “Back to School Book Bag Drive,” this August. We have a large bumper box in our office and we would like to fill it to the top with book bags and school supplies. Once again, all the donations collected will be brought to Serve Wenatchee Valley, and distributed through their store front as needed. So please join us at Earhart’s Collision Repair (1422 N. Miller, Suite 8) in bringing success to our children and community.

Women for Christian Scholars--It is the purpose of WCS to strengthen the young people of King’s Orchard Church of Christ by investing the profits of our fund-raising events into the Landreth-Johnson Scholarship fund. With this fund, we are able to grant scholarships to graduating high school students who are members of our congregation.

Pacific Crest Church will host their Second Annual art instruction day camp for children ages 4 to 18 (and families) at Pybus on Thursday and Friday, August 6 and 7 from 10am to 12 noon. Kids will create their own works of art using different mediums. On Saturday, August 8, the art will be on exhibition in the Pybus Concourse from 10am to 1pm for the public to view.
