How to help with Natural Disasters here in USA

You have all heard and read about the many natural disasters that have happened/are happening this summer (and right now) here in the United States. You may want to help, but are uncertain what you can do. One place that is TREMENDOUS help throughout the USA is Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Inc. The send out semi-trailers full of help to communities all over the USA - communities devastated by floods, fires, tornados, hurricanes. . . . When you donate money to them they are able to use $1 to buy 3-4 times the amount of goods that YOU would be able to buy. AND they only have 15 staff (office, warehouse crew, 5 men who travel across the country representing CCDRE). As always, lift up in prayer all those effected by fires (WA, OR, ID, CA) and floods (AR, MO, TX, NE ...); they have a long row to hoe to get back to "normal".
